Closing Panel Discussion: This session will explore how Artisanal and Small-Scale Mining (ASM) and Large-Scale Mining (LSM) operators can collaborate to build shared value and reduce conflict. Panelists will discuss approaches to respecting land rights, creating ASM-LSM cooperation frameworks, and sharing infrastructure such as processing plants and access roads. The session will also examine responsible gold aggregation practices and strategies for maximizing community benefits. Practical partnership models from co-existence agreements to supply chain linkages will be highlighted, along with policy tools that support effective collaboration.
